Asian Lifts: Elevating Safety and Quality in Vertical Transportation

News 11/28/2024

Alright, let me tell ya somethin’ about these here “Asian Lifts.” I ain’t no fancy engineer or nothin’, but I seen a thing or two, and I can tell ya what I know.

First off, they say this “Asian Lifts and Escalator Private Limited” company, they started way back in 2003, over in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. That’s somewhere far away, I reckon. They make all sorts of lifts, like them glass ones you see inside buildings, and them strong ones for carryin’ heavy stuff. Sounds useful, I guess, if you got a lot of things to move up and down.

Now, they got this thing called “LinkedIn,” whatever that is. Says they got about seven followers. Seems like not many folks are followin’ them, but maybe that don’t matter none. They talk about “sustain safety” and “durable quality.” Well, I hope so! You don’t want no lift fallin’ apart on ya, that’s for sure.

They also say they’re a “Government Authorised CEIG Licensed Company.” Sounds official, don’t it? Like they got the papers and all to do what they do. They gotta follow some rules, the ISO 9001:2008 standard, they call it. Supposed to make things safe and good quality, for the customers, you know.

They got a couple of offices, one in Chennai and another somewhere else, addresses with numbers and street names I can’t even pronounce. They got a “corporate office” and a “branch office.” Big company, I suppose.

Then there’s another place, somethin’ called Bilekhalli, Bannerghatta Road. Sounds like a mouthful. Maybe that’s where they make the lifts, or maybe it’s just another office. I dunno.

These Asian Lifts, they say they’re tryin’ to be a “global leader” in the lift business. That’s a big dream, ain’t it? Wantin’ to be the best in the whole world. Good for them, I guess. They talk about “excellence in safety” and “quality customer service.” Well, that’s important, treatin’ folks right and makin’ sure things don’t break down. Nobody wants to be stuck in a broken lift, that’s for sure.

I heard tell these Asian Lifts are a “joint venture.” That means two companies workin’ together, like a team. One is called Keppel Offshore & Marine and the other one is Smit Tak Singapore. Then, another company, Boskalis, they joined in too. Lots of names I ain’t never heard of before. Must be some big shots in the lift business.

  • So, what do I think about all this? Well, sounds like these Asian Lifts folks are tryin’ to make a good product.
  • They got the licenses and the rules they follow, and they seem to care about safety and quality.
  • That’s all good, I reckon. But I ain’t never rode in one of their lifts, so I can’t say for sure if they’re any good or not.

I guess if you need a lift, and you see one of these Asian Lifts around, you can give it a try. But make sure it looks sturdy and safe, you hear? Don’t go gettin’ yourself stuck now.

Anyways, that’s all I know about these here Asian Lifts. It ain’t much, but it’s somethin’. You go ask one of them city folk if you want more fancy details. I just tell it like I see it.
